Today, Manu Gelato is considered a reference for artisanal ice cream in French-speaking Switzerland, born out of a passion. That of Emanuele Zanchi, who discovered the world of ice cream at a young age during summers spent by the sea in his native Italy. Simple memories, but deeply meaningful, which would give birth years later to a true life project: to convey through ice cream an emotion, a memory, and a moment of happiness.

After several years in finance between Italy and abroad, Emanuele decided to leave everything to dedicate himself entirely to this universe that has passionate him since childhood. For many months, he traveled, studied, met artisans and producers to perfect his know-how and develop his own recipes.

The Manu Gelato adventure began in 2011 with the opening of the first boutique at Rue de Carouge 65 in Geneva.

Faced with the success of the concept, several new locations quickly emerged in French-speaking Switzerland.

In 2018, Andrea Guglielmone Pasquini joined the project to accompany the development and structuring of the brand.

After studying economics and having his first entrepreneurial experience in the children's fashion universe, Andrea brought to Manu Gelato a vision oriented towards development, brand image, and network growth.

In 2020, Andrea and Emanuele became partners and launched the development of the franchise network with a first opening in Lausanne.

To support this growth, a new production laboratory was inaugurated in April 2021.

The brand is also starting to develop its B2B activity through a first collaboration with a distributor.
