I am renting out my complete, furnished 3-room apartment in Kriens (LU) Schweighof for 3-6 months, as I will be away on business in the 2nd half of 2026.
The start of the subletting can be from 01.12.2026 or on any 01. or 15. thereafter.
The minimum subletting period must be 3 months, and the maximum rental period can be 12 months. There is an option to take over the apartment completely after 3+ months of rental.

Tenants must sign an official subletting contract for my rental company, which agrees to this subletting, but wants to see a subletting contract.

Kriens Mattenhof train station is 8 minutes' walk away, and with the train, you can reach the main station in Lucerne in 7 minutes/2 stations. 40 minutes to Zurich main station by car, 60 minutes to Zurich main station by train from the apartment.

Apartment size: 80sqm + 20sqm terrace.
A maximum of 4 people can live here, with space for 2 additional overnight guests on the sofa bed.

Singles, couples, couples with a maximum of 1 child are preferred. No pets allowed.

My apartment is fully equipped for people who are new to Switzerland and need a basis for searching for their first apartment. It is fully equipped for daily needs and offers special equipment for hikers (snowshoes, hiking poles, etc.) and business travelers (office furniture and high-speed internet included).

The building was built 5 years ago. I live in the first rent. The equipment and condition are like new.

The apartment is located on the 3rd floor (of 4) with a beautiful partial view of the mountains (Pilatus, Bürgenstock, Rigi, Berner Voralpen).

The building has an elevator.
Parking space in the garage is included.

Details of the subletting:
The subletting period can be a minimum of 90 days and a maximum of 6 months, ideally from February.

Registration possible. Subletting contract must be signed for the landlord. Tenants with private liability insurance are preferred.

The monthly rent covers all costs, from rent, water, heating, electricity, internet, parking, etc.

The apartment
1 bedroom/office with desk+chair, screen, 160x200 king-size bed, a chair, and several small tables, standing desk, large wardrobe.

1 main bedroom with a 180x200 bed, chair, 2 nightstands, large wardrobe, bench.

1 guest bathroom with toilet, large dresser, sink, small upper cabinet and lower cabinet, as well as a lowboard.

1 full bathroom with toilet, bathtub with shower option, large lower cabinet, 2 mirror cabinets, standing cabinet.

1 open kitchen with large refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, all necessary cooking appliances, coffee machine, toaster, water cooker, egg cooker, etc.

1 entrance hall with built-in cabinets, washing machine, and dryer

1 living room with a large couch for 3 people, which can be extended to a French double bed, a large TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, and a Chromecast. There is also an electric fireplace.

1 dining area with a large dining table and 4 chairs.

1 20sqm large terrace/balcony with grill, sun loungers, stools, tables, a hammock, and a couch.

3 keys for the apartment and house access are provided.

There is an option to take over the apartment after 6 months as a subtenant from me, but it would have to be taken over completely furnished (against a payment) and I would have to be able to move in again for 2-3 weeks in this case to organize my own move and the handover with the property management.
