I'm looking for someone to take my place in the apartment.
Due to a transfer, I'm leaving the attic where I live in Muralto, Via Sciaroni 12, and I'm looking for a subletter starting from January 1, 2027. Fourth and last floor, elevator, noble building between old villas, palms, and gardens. Above you, there's only the roof.
The first thing you see when entering the living room is not the furniture, but the bell tower. Behind it, the lake. And behind it again, the Gambarogno mountains, which turn white at the top in winter. It's not a retouched postcard view: it's the view you find in the photos, and you find it every morning.
The main floor. A long, bright living room with parquet, with a patio door that accesses the terrace. Separate kitchen with oven, ceramic glass cooktop, dishwasher, and column refrigerator. Bedroom also with direct access to the terrace. Master bathroom with double sink, bathtub, and separate shower.
The terrace. It's the reason I took this apartment. It's large, covered, and has a sliding awning, and it overlooks the lake. In summer, you dine here, in winter, you enjoy the midday sun. Whoever lives in an apartment with a small balcony will immediately understand the difference.
The upper floor. You go up a wooden spiral staircase and arrive in a large, bright attic with skylights and parquet, where the light enters from above. Here, there's a second bathroom with shower and your own laundry room: no laundry shifts in the basement, no calendar on the communal washing machine. The space lends itself to whatever you need: studio, guest room or kids' room, atelier, gym, library. On paper, it's 3½ rooms; in everyday life, you live more.
The rest. A covered garage space with plenty of room, where two cars and two motorcycles currently stand. Dry, spacious basement. Well-kept communal garden. Pets allowed.
The costs. Rent CHF 1,500, advance payment for expenses CHF 200, garage CHF 100. Total CHF 1,800 per month for 129 m², an attic, a lakeview terrace, and a garage that fits two cars. Make your own comparison with what you can find elsewhere.
Available from January 1, 2027. The new contract will be signed directly with the owner, who will evaluate the application: keep a recent extract from the debt collection register and an income certificate ready, so everything goes quickly.
