In our 90 m² large, heated workshop in Obernau, a workshop space will become available after the completion of my apprentice's training. This will provide significantly more space in the future.

The workshop is located directly on the main street in Obernau and is easily accessible via Kriens/Renggloch and in the direction of Malters/Lucerne. Parking facilities are available.

Extensive equipment for shared use

The existing machines and facilities can be used jointly, including:

• Band saw

• Planing machine

• Thickness planing machine

• Lathes

• Planing bench

• Chip extraction

• Lacquer extraction

• Complete lacquering equipment

• Compressors and compressed air

• Modern electrical installation with 230 V and 400 V (accepted in 2021)

Own machines, tools, and materials can also be brought in and, if sufficient space is available, stored in the workshop.

In addition, a large, dry storage area is available, which is currently not being used and is ideal for storing wood and materials.

About the workshop

The large window front on the main street provides plenty of daylight. The workshop is heated and has a toilet and a refrigerator. Since the workshop is not located in a residential area, working with machines is also problem-free.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a motivated, manually working person who enjoys a well-equipped workshop and joint work.

I am an Alphorn maker with training and experience as a restorer and art carpenter. The workshop also contains, among other things, rare woods and antique furniture. I am happy to share my knowledge and experience and look forward to a mutual exchange of expertise.

The atmosphere is quiet, collegial, and professional.

Costs

The workshop space costs CHF 650.– per month. This includes everything, except electricity, which is billed separately and is manageable due to the favorable conditions.

No deposit. Rental period and further details by arrangement.

The space is available upon request.

The current pictures show the workshop partially still cluttered. However, with the completion of the training, additional space will become available, and the workshop will be correspondingly tidied up.
