The Walserhaus "Bargis" was built around 1750-1800 as an agricultural homestead (house and barn).
In 2000, the house and barn were converted into 11 modern apartments. Five of these apartments are still owned by the founding family.
On the ground floor of the Walserhaus, a cozy restaurant was created: The Gasthaus Bargis pampered guests and locals for over 20 years with delicious dishes and good company. The Cordonbleu variations were known far beyond the village borders. Due to the lack of successors for the Gasthaus "Bargis", the decision was made to convert it into an apartment in the coming autumn/winter 2021.
