The building was constructed in 1988 on a slope. It does not have an elevator. To facilitate access, a stairlift was installed in 2022.

The laundry room is shared among the 6 co-owners and is located on the upper floor. There is no washing machine in the apartment itself. It is situated on the intermediate level and access requires descending 16 steps.

The flat roof is checked annually by a specialized company. It is possible that protective barriers may need to be installed in the future. This issue is currently under study and if the work proves necessary, it should be financed by the renovation fund.

We moved into the apartment in 1997 and carried out the following renovations :

  • Kitchen renovated in 2001

  • Bathroom and separate WC renovated in 2009

  • Shower and bathroom fittings replaced in 2025

  • Induction cooktop installed in 2021

  • Dishwasher replaced in 2020, with insurance covering all repairs until the end of May 2027

  • Refrigerator with freezer, oven, and extractor fan replaced in 2025

  • Painting work done in 2017

  • Oak parquet in the living room and one bedroom replaced in 2014

The connection to the district heating is planned for September 2026. The pipes are already installed in the building. The cost of the work is estimated at around CHF 70'000.– and will be covered by the renovation fund.

To allow individual temperature control in each room, new thermostats will need to be installed in three rooms.

Fiber optic is already present in the building, but not yet connected to the apartment.
