As two of our roommates will be moving out next year, two rooms will become available in our spacious maisonette apartment at Römerstrasse 155 in 8404 Winterthur:

Room A (available from December 1, 2026): 15.7 m², south-facing window and a cozy wooden wall for a warm ambiance. CHF 890/month, including utilities.
(Note: Since Susanne and Mischa will still be living in Room B until the end of January, we will be living with five people for two months. In this time, your rent will be reduced accordingly.)

Room B (available from February 1, 2027): 20.8 m², facing east and with a practical, large built-in closet. CHF 980/month, including utilities.
(Note on furniture: Except for the white built-in closet, the room will be unfurnished, so you can decorate it according to your own ideas.)

The apartment and amenities

The apartment is located in a 2005 renovated farmhouse and offers a lot of space on 212 m², spread over two floors. Exposed wooden beams and a tile stove in the living room provide a lot of charm. Additionally, there is a modern kitchen, a private garden area for sunny days, and a private laundry room, which we share uncomplicatedly.

Who you'll be living with

Petra (32): Works in quality assurance in the hospital pharmacy at St. Gallen Hospital. She starts her day early; after work, she often attends gymnastics training at the club. When she's not training or exploring the area by bike, she likes to process the quinces from our garden. And if you want to know how versatile socks can be, Petra will show you.

Nico (31): Originally from Germany, works as a commissioning engineer and is sometimes on the road with customers. He spends his free time outdoors, skiing or mountain biking in the mountains, or surfing at the sea.

What we're looking for and our shared life

We're looking for two reliable roommates (non-smokers), ideally employed and of similar age, who appreciate a quiet and orderly home (we also have an Ämtliplan app). We're not a party shared apartment and lead a relatively independent life during the week and on weekends, with our own hobbies and schedules. Nevertheless, we appreciate a relaxed, considerate coexistence without purpose-built shared apartment anonymity: You run into each other in the kitchen, exchange stories about your daily life, or cook together occasionally, all without obligation.
