Your room

Your future room covers around 40 m² and offers an exceptionally spacious room feeling with a ceiling height of around 3.4 meters. The historic stucco ceiling with its elaborate floral decorations and the listed wooden floor are particularly impressive. Both give the room a very special charm.
Through the two large windows, you look directly at the Oskar Reinhart Museum on Stadthausstrasse and at the city garden, and thus also into the green.

The room is rented unfurnished and offers plenty of space for individual furnishing due to its size. Directly next to your room is a bathroom with a shower.

The room is available from January 2027 or by arrangement.

The apartment

Our charming old building apartment is located in the middle of Winterthur's old town, is partially under monument protection, and extends over a spacious living area of around 300 m².

A special highlight is our approximately 50 m² large terrace. It is equipped with cozy lounges and a chimney and invites you to linger all year round. Whether for relaxation, for joint dinners or cozy evenings with friends, we like to spend our time here.

The apartment has a total of three bathrooms, a spacious living and dining area, and a particularly large laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. The devices are available to you at any time, completely without a washing plan.
Additionally, there is a spacious attic that offers further storage space if needed.

Of course, you can use all common rooms in the apartment freely.

Location

Our apartment is located directly on Stadthausstrasse in the heart of Winterthur's old town. The Marktgasse with its numerous shopping opportunities, restaurants, and bars is only a few minutes' walk away. The city garden is also located in the immediate vicinity.
You can reach Winterthur train station on foot in about five minutes. A bus stop is located directly in front of the house door, so you are also well connected by public transport. The various locations of the ZHAW are also easily accessible on foot.
Despite the central location, the immediate proximity to the city garden offers a beautiful view into the green.

All additional costs included

With us, all additional costs are already included in the monthly rent. In addition to electricity, water, and heating, we also cover the costs for high-speed internet with 10 Gbit/s, insurance, Serafe fees, garbage fees, washing detergent, and other commonly used household items.

So you don't have to worry about additional costs.

About us

We are a collegial and uncomplicated shared flat, consisting of three men between the ages of 21 and 34, and are looking for a fourth person for our community.

We are employed and partly study alongside. We appreciate the sociable exchange and joint evenings. In particular, we like to use our large terrace to sit together, have a drink, or simply enjoy the evening.

Since we don't have direct neighbors, it can get a bit later with us. We are also a non-smoking household, so you shouldn't have a problem with that. At the same time, everyone has their own daily routine and can withdraw at any time.
It is important to us that we all feel comfortable and that living together remains uncomplicated.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an open, uncomplicated, and sociable person who not only feels comfortable with us but also wants to contribute to the shared flat life.

We are not a shared flat out of necessity and are looking forward to someone who likes to be with people and has a desire for communal living. Of course, you don't have to do something together all the time. Mutual consideration, reliability, and respectful interaction with each other are important to us.
