I am renting out my very spacious room in our 4-person shared flat directly in the Steinvorstadt. You would be living with Emilia (22), Lisa (27), and Irina (26).
The room is approximately 35 m² in size and offers plenty of space. A bed, sofa, desk, and wardrobe can easily fit in here without making the room look cluttered. The room is also nicely bright due to the large windows, and you have a direct view of the Steinvorstadt.
Regarding furniture, I would be happy if you could take over my couch.
A special highlight is the private bathroom with a toilet directly adjacent to the room. It has a bathtub, a sink, and sufficient storage space. This way, you have a lot of privacy despite shared flat living.
The apartment itself is a spacious old building and is divided in such a way that each person has their own area. Your room is even located on its own floor, which means you have a lot of peace and quiet. We share the kitchen and a large rooftop terrace with a view over the Steinvorstadt.
The location is very central, and you are right in the middle of the action. However, it's fair to say that it can get a bit louder outside, especially in the evenings. In my experience, you get used to it quickly, and in the autumn and winter months, it's much quieter.
Overall, the room is perfect for you if you're looking for a lot of space and privacy but still want to experience shared flat living and a very central location in the city.
