Over the next few months, from November to January, three rooms in our WG will become permanently available as we move in with our respective partners.

The apartment
Our apartment is super cozy and located on a quiet side street, just 5 minutes from Claraplatz on foot. So you'd live very centrally, while still having a calm place to come home to.
The Clarastrasse tram stop is a 1-minute walk away, while Messeplatz can be reached in about 3 minutes on foot. A Coop is located 1 minute away, and Lidl and Aldi are around a 4-minute walk from the flat. Wettsteinplatz is also about a 4-minute walk away, with direct tram connections to Basel SBB in around 6 minutes.
The apartment consists of a super nice, open shared living room with a big kitchen, two bathrooms, a separate room for stuff like bikes, as well as four bedrooms for the WG members two smaller ones and two bigger ones.
You essentially have free choice of which room you'd like, as well as how much of the existing furniture you want to keep, if any. First come, first served :)

Your future flatmate
You'd be living together with Kenny, so here are some facts about him:
Kenny (GER/ENG) is 27 and has just started his PhD at ETH, where he works on AI in medicine. When he's not nerding around at the office, he likes to stay active, does a lot of sports, drinks espresso in coffee bars, and on the weekends likes to visit his girlfriend in Heidelberg. Having grown up close to the mountains in Germany, he also really enjoys spending time in nature and going hiking every now and then.
Over the past year of living with Kenny, we've gotten to know him as a funny and kind flatmate who likes to keep things clean and is always up for a movie night, cooking together, or other spontaneous WG adventures. At the same time, he appreciates a calm and respectful WG atmosphere, where everyone can come home after a long day, relax, and enjoy some time to themselves when they need it.

The rooms
Here are some more facts about the individual rooms:

• 18 m² CHF 645 (earliest move-in date: 16th Nov; latest: January 2027)
• 11 m² CHF 565 (earliest move-in date: 1st Dec; latest: January 2027)
• 20 m² CHF 700 (earliest move-in date: 16th Nov; latest: January 2027)

Who we're looking for
We are looking for long-term tenants who would like to take over the main contract and make this their clean and cozy home in Basel.
We'd love to find people who are up for a friendly and respectful WG life, while also appreciating that everyone sometimes wants to do their own thing and have a bit of peace and quiet.
