Community areas:
The apartment was freshly renovated in 2023 and is therefore in a great condition. The kitchen is well-equipped (dishwasher, steam cooker, microwave) and offers enough space for the supplies of three people. Additional storage space is available in a separate storage room with an extra freezer.
The living room is especially cozy in winter with a fireplace. A projector for watching movies is also available.
The apartment has two bathrooms: one with a bathtub, toilet, washing machine, and dryer. The other with a shower and toilet.
The highlight of the apartment is the 54m2 large balcony (roof terrace) with a nice view towards the Limmattal. Part of it is covered, so you can sit outside even in bad weather. If you have a green thumb, you would also have enough space for your plant projects!

Your room
The room is 11 m2 large and equipped with a bed and wardrobe. You can also bring your own furniture if you like.

Location
The connection to public transport is very good. The tram stop Reitmen (line 20) is 300m (3 minutes on foot) away. By bike, you can reach Schlieren train station in 6 minutes. A bus line (line 302) is also just two streets away.

Shopping: The nearest Migros is within walking distance (3 minutes). A Lidl can be reached in 5 minutes by bike.

Many leisure activities are also easily accessible. By bike, you can reach the Limmat, a bouldering/climbing hall, or a fitness studio in 5 minutes. At the S-Bahn stop Urdorf (also easily accessible), there is also a Vitaparcours.

Dominik
I am 37 and work as a primary school teacher in a 1st-grade class. After work, I like to do sports (e.g., swimming, jogging, inline skating, or fitness), listen to podcasts, and read. Currently, I am also learning French and Italian, even if progress is slow :)
On weekends, I am often outdoors or make myself comfortable at home with a movie. I am always open to joint activities with roommates, but I have no expectations.
I rarely retreat to my room when I'm at home, but I fully understand if you handle it differently.

Lewin
I am 32 years old and work as a train driver for the SBB. In my free time, I like to be outdoors, especially hiking, mountain climbing, and paragliding. I also like to educate myself in various ways, e.g., I am currently learning French and trying to improve my English. I also like to do something together, whether it's a trip into nature or a relaxed evening in the shared apartment, for example with a self-cooked curry. However, due to my work, I have changing working hours, and depending on the week, it may be that we don't meet often.

Cleanliness
It would be important for both of us that you also like to live in a tidy apartment and are therefore open to a cleaning schedule or other agreements on cleanliness.
