The Apartment
Our four-person shared apartment is located in Witikon (District 7) in a quiet and central area. The 140 m² large ground-floor apartment offers four bedrooms, a large kitchen, two bathrooms, a cozy living and dining area, and a spacious balcony with a view of the greenery. The kitchen and bathrooms were renovated in 2020.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, dishwasher, microwave, Sodastream, kitchen machine, and everything else you need for cooking and baking. The living room has a large sofa, a TV, and a record player. Additionally, there is a basement storage room, a bike cellar, a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer, and a separate room for drying laundry. The laundry room is shared with another apartment, and the laundry schedule is flexible.

Your Room
The room is 13.5 m² large, bright, and has a large west-facing window. It is unfurnished and is offered as a sublet. You will share the bathroom with Yasmin. The room will be available at the end of September, with the exact date still unclear. Therefore, the move-in date is by arrangement, possible from early October.

Our Two Cats
We also live with two affectionate cats. They enjoy being petted and like to cuddle on the bed or sofa. Both are otherwise very autonomous, have a cat flap, and spend a lot of time outside. They belong to Yasmin and are mainly cared for by her. However, if she is away or working long hours, the whole shared apartment helps with feeding and, of course, loving them.

The Surroundings
The bus stop Loorenstrasse, Coop, bakery, and other shops are just a few steps away. By bus, you can reach Klusplatz in about 10 minutes, Stadelhofen in 20 minutes, and the UZH/ETH center in about 25 minutes. There are also blue zone parking and rentable parking spaces in the underground garage nearby.

Our Shared Apartment
We are Dave (25, master's student in geography and museum guide), Yasmin (28, primary school teacher in master's studies), and Jonas (27, PhD in automatic control systems). While Jonas is busy with his PhD and often works, Yasmin and Dave are at home in the evenings and sometimes during the day, and they like to watch motorsports or listen to Dave's records. We like to live in the living area and don't go to bed too early. Accordingly, our living room is lively in the evenings, but not loud.

Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a roommate who enjoys shared apartment life. We're not a functional shared apartment, but at the same time, we all pursue our interests. Since we work and live differently, there's usually someone around, yet you can always find your peace. We occasionally do things together, like sledding, but we rather see each other as it happens. Ideally, you're in a similar stage of life as us and have previous shared apartment experience.

Costs
The rent includes the apartment's ancillary costs (heating, electricity, water, etc.), internet/TV, and a weekly cleaning by a cleaning staff (bathrooms, kitchen, and living area).
Additionally, there is a shared apartment fund for common expenses like Zurich bags and cleaning supplies.
