We live in a beautiful, renovated farmhouse surrounded by a large plot of land: tree-lined gardens and two large terraces on either side of the house, plus a large covered terrace. The farmhouse has 9 rooms and 5 bathrooms. A dream setting for a shared accommodation: private spaces to retreat to and others for communal living. In the countryside but also close to the cities of Fribourg, Romont, and Bulle.
We are looking for a roommate, regardless of age, for a flexible and agile shared accommodation. You will find a living space with a sympathetic and open team that assumes the more we are, the more we laugh. We are looking for a person who aspires to shared accommodation as a long-term lifestyle, willing to share with us the work inside and outside the house.
We:
Geneviève, 65 years old, retired, spontaneous, and active. Loves hiking, gardening, drawing, and reading.
Brigitte, 69 years old, happy retiree, dynamic, and enthusiastic. Loves cooking, crafting, traveling, organizing board game evenings, and gradually realizing her 100 retirement dreams.
Vincent, 48 years old, sociable, and attentive, loves discussing and reading, has multiple interests, from geopolitics to agriculture and health issues. Loves walking in nature.
Martin, 34 years old, Geneviève's son, loves drawing, climbing, and skateboarding.
There's also Popo, our cat, and a sympathetic neighborhood. Popo not being very sociable, we don't accept other pets.
The shared accommodation offers:
a room, rent CHF 700 + 200.- charges: room of 18m2, in the attic, equipped with wall cabinets, bright, with a view of the Gibloux, private bathroom with WC and bathtub/shower in the entrance hall of the room. This room is available immediately or for a date to be agreed upon.
Parking space is included in the rent.
Use of common areas: - large kitchen - living room with stone fireplace - dining room - laundry room with washing machine and dryer - a guest room - DIY and gardening areas - large storage space (dry) in the rural part
20 minutes from Fribourg and Bulle by car, 10 minutes from Romont. TPF bus stop (Fribourg-Romont) 150 meters away.
The charges include: - heating - electricity - hot water - internet/TV - Serafe - waste disposal fee - household insurance - subscription to La Liberté
We cook together. For meals and cleaning products (cleaning products, laundry detergent, toilet paper...) you should plan about CHF 10.- per day and person. The "household fund" is managed by the roommates.
