In a professional shared flat in Birmensdorf, a large furnished WG room (approx. 25m2) in a charming half-timbered house is available for rent. Move-in date: 04.10.2026. The house is located in a quiet and rural area, yet it is very well connected to the city. The bus stop Untere Risi is within a 2-minute walk and from there you can reach Triemli in 10 minutes. The Birmensdorf train station is also within walking distance and you can quickly reach Zurich HB.

The apartment is very spacious. There is a well-equipped kitchen with a large dining area, two bathrooms, a balcony, and a private laundry room. The common areas are cleaned once a week. Even though the room is under the roof, it cools down well at night in the summer because you can create a draft and the forest is quite close.

You will be living with 5 professionals (2 women, 3 men) who all work at the Eidge. Research Institute for Forest, Snow, and Landscape and are in their late 20s to early 30s. The shared flat is currently quite international. In general, it is a rather quiet and purposeful living together. On weekends, some roommates are often away.

The move-in process is very straightforward for you. There are no long WG castings with selection procedures. First comes first serves.
