Description
We are a 5-person shared accommodation (m31, m28, m27, w25, w24) looking for new members due to the departure of two roommates.
The rooms would be available either from October 1st or November 1st, 2026, and this is a temporary living arrangement with a fixed move-out date of March 31st, 2027, as the house will unfortunately be demolished to make way for a new building.
Shared accommodation life with us is quite relaxed, and we meet spontaneously during the week or on weekends for a beer on our terrace or in the garden. Tasks in the house or garden are distributed during occasional shared accommodation meetings. Our household also includes 2 cats, which like to come by for cuddling. One or possibly both of the cats will also be moving out in the fall of 2026. Due to our cats, we unfortunately cannot accommodate any other cats or dogs in our household.
The house is well-equipped and can be reached on foot from Uster train station in 10 minutes. By bike or bus, it's even faster ;-) There is also a gas station with a Migrolino nearby, which is open daily until 23:45. Although we are not far from the city center, the surroundings of the house are very quiet.
The house also has a laundry room in the basement with a washing machine and dryer, which is additionally equipped with a bathroom (toilet and shower). There is also a parking space in front of the house and a garage, which is currently mainly used as a storage room and workshop and is shared with the veterinary practice next door.
The free room on the ground floor has an internet connection and is furnished. Parts of the furniture can be kept free of charge if desired (e.g., couch/wardrobe) or possibly bought (e.g., the loft bed). The room is approximately 18m² in size and also has an internet connection and access to its own balcony.
The free room on the 1st floor has an internet connection and is equipped with a built-in wardrobe. Additionally, wardrobes can be used directly in front of the room, and there is enough space in the house if additional storage space is needed. Without the wardrobe, the usable area is approximately 12m². The room also has access to the balcony, which is shared with another room.
