I am renting out my room from now until around mid/late December 26. The room is partially furnished with a closet, desk, and mattress, so you can basically move in directly. If you want to bring your own furniture, that can also be organized. The room has a view of the Bachtel and with the window open, you can fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the stream.

We have a large, cozy living and dining area, a bathroom, a separate toilet, and a beautiful balcony. Right outside the front door, there is also a small vegetable garden. The washing machine and dryer are located in the basement of the residential building, and there is also a bike cellar. The apartment is located in a quiet, yet central 30 km/h zone. Shopping opportunities and Jona train station are within walking distance. You can reach the center of Rapperswil, the lake, or the OST by bike in 5-10 minutes.

During the sublease, you would live with the three best roommates: Johanna (30) studies landscape architecture at the OST, is an artist, and often edits videos for her work. Thanks to her, we have many healthy plants, whether in the shared apartment, on the balcony, or in the garden. Raffi (32) is an engineer, singing teacher, and likes to play the piano. He's always up for a game of darts or a series night. Melanie (26) works on a biofarm and is often found in the mountains (climbing), in the bouldering hall, or on the slackline. With her, even annoying shared apartment tasks like disposing of old glass become incredibly fun.

We are a mixed shared apartment of working professionals and students. Everyone has their own life and daily routine, yet we are definitely not a functional shared apartment and appreciate an open, uncomplicated, appreciative, and communal living together. We regularly meet up for cooking, Znacht, or on the balcony and also like to do things together as a shared apartment. We are looking for a non-smoking person who ideally already has shared apartment experience and values a healthy amount of cleanliness and adherence to a task plan.

The room is available from now until around mid/late December. There may be the possibility to take over the room afterwards. Viewings are expected to be possible between September 7th and 10th and between September 14th and 17th, each in the evening or by arrangement.
