The apartment

This wing of the house — the original building dates back to 1726 — was located in the former rural area of the farm. Completely transformed into apartments in 2020, it has retained the volume, the exposed beams, and the light wood paneling.

A unique space with a sleeping area (queen-size double bed) against a wooden wall, open dressing room with wardrobe and shelves. Dining area with table and high chairs, separate office with chair and lamp — ideal for working comfortably from home. Large standing mirror.

Kitchen

Worktop made of stratified material, 4 cooking plates, oven, hood, Miele dishwasher, built-in Miele refrigerator. Dishes, glass, pots, and small appliances are provided.

Bathroom Corner shower, toilet, washbasin with mirror cabinet, washing machine in the room.

Location — a living village

In the heart of Courfaivre (Haute-Sorne municipality), just a few steps from the church and the cantonal road that crosses the village — a central and lively location, with everything you need for daily life:

• Shops, bakery, tea room, post office, and restaurant in the immediate vicinity

• A real village life: cultural and sports center, gym, football, local associations, concerts, markets, and festivals — ideal for quickly integrating into social life

• Nature at the gates of the village: the Sorne, the hills, and the Jura trails

A living village center, with traffic on the cantonal road and the church bells that rhythmically accompany village life. The building also has its own character: an old, renovated building, where you can sometimes hear the sound of water circulating in the pipes — a detail we prefer to announce rather than discover.

Eating without cooking

The village restaurant is right next to the building. The operator can offer you a suitable formula — a welcome possibility for those who do not want to cook every day. We will gladly put you in touch.

A cleaning service can be organized, either occasionally or at regular intervals, according to your needs. Price on request.

Mobility

Bus stop in less than a minute and Courfaivre train station in 7 minutes on foot, with Delémont in 8 minutes by train (half-hourly frequency, 7 days a week) and connections to Basel, Biel, and Porrentruy. Ideal for not being dependent on a private vehicle.

Modalities

Rented apartment for a fixed period, renewable, from one month — and gladly longer. Studies, temporary mission, transition phase, or gradual settlement in the region: we agree together on the initial duration and extensions.
