Beautiful Horgen is one of the larger towns on the shores of Lake Zurich, located about 15 kilometers from Zurich's center. Horgen borders the extensive Sihlwald nature reserve, a beautiful piece of land perfect for a refreshing day trip or hike. In Horgen, you'll find several supermarkets, as well as Swiss restaurants and cafes by the lake, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views. Horgen is also home to the local museum and the Wohn- & Porzellanmuseum, if you're looking for some culture. Thanks to several train lines passing through the town, Zurich and other destinations in Switzerland are easily accessible.
