RENTAL AGREEMENT PLUS CONDITIONS
This apartment can be rented according to the Basel rental model, Rental Agreement Plus. The Rental Agreement Plus offers a discount of 20% on the net rent if the tenants meet the following conditions:
Residence:
The tenants have been resident in the canton of Basel-Stadt for at least two years at the start of the rental period.
Occupancy:
The apartment may have a maximum of one more room than the number of people living in the same household. Half rooms are rounded down. A household with at least three people can apply for a 4.5-room apartment, for example.
Income limit:
The total annual income, before deductions and according to the final tax assessment of all persons registered in the household, may not exceed four times the gross annual market rent, including ancillary costs.
Asset limit:
The assets of a person registered in the household, according to the final tax assessment of the previous year, may not exceed 30,000 francs. For two or more persons, the asset limit is 50,000 francs.

The above-mentioned net rent already includes the 20% discount. The discount is valid for one year and can be extended if the conditions for the Rental Agreement Plus are still met.
