The "Gotischen Haus" has a special historical significance, as its over four-hundred-year-old building substance dates back to the 16th century.

Discover this unique 4.5-room terraced house in the historic core of the municipality of Münchenstein, which perfectly combines history and modernity. 

The building, dating from 1586, was completely renovated in 2025 and offers an exceptional living experience on 118 m² of living space and 4 floors. 

The oldest part dates back to the first house on the Wehrgraben. It stands in a line with several houses that formed the outer fortification ring of the village to the south. 

The original building structure of the "Gotischen Haus" has been largely preserved. With its round-arched entrance and beautiful, three-part stepped windows, it is a well-preserved witness to the Gothic style period. 

The walls, floors, and ceilings are mostly in their original condition, which means, among other things, that the room heights are very low. Some beams could be dated back to 1568/69. The house still has some old built-in closets and doors.
