This means that today's heatwaves are not a problem at all, and no air conditioning or other cooling methods are required.In just 3 minutes on foot from the building, you can reach a field and a hiking trail with a breathtaking view of the Alps, in 5 minutes you can reach a Volg branch that also houses the local post office, and in just a few more minutes you can reach a community school. Although Hendschiken is rural and quiet, it is very well connected to the surrounding cities of Othmarsingen (5 minutes by car), Lenzburg (10 minutes), and Wohlen (10 minutes), as well as to the highway, so you can easily reach Aarau, Baden, and Basel, and with little traffic, you can drive to Zurich in 30-40 minutes (the upcoming completion of the Gubrist renovation should also greatly ease commuter traffic during rush hour). Additionally, there are numerous beautiful bike paths that lead to the surrounding rivers, lakes, fields, and castles.We bought the apartment last April, moved there from Zurich, and enjoyed every minute of our life there. Unfortunately, life is unpredictable, and we are now looking for someone to buy the apartment from us and enjoy it just as much as we did.
