In an 18,000 m2 park located south of the Ecublens commune, side Saint-Sulpice, close to the EPFL, the Domaine de La Vignette is a new construction project consisting of nine buildings with three and four-room apartments. The buildings have only one floor above the ground floor. The three upper buildings (A B C) are dedicated to rental, the six others (D to I) to property by floor. The construction site opened on October 11, 2024. The quality of the construction is exceptional in terms of building materials and interior finishes. Particular attention has been paid to the exterior amenities. The park contains over seventy major trees as well as numerous indigenous plantations. The philosophy of the project is to live in a place where the surrounding nature and the large trees confer tranquility. The parking spaces are all located in the basement with direct access to each building. A communal room of eighty square meters is made available to residents for various activities. Energy production is achieved for each building using a high-end geothermal heat pump from the Stiebel Eltron brand, as well as thermal panels that relieve the heat pump and the natural resources of the land, especially in summer. A simple flow system optimizes the air quality in the apartments. The extracted heat is redirected to the heat pump. The construction is labeled "Minergie". The buildings also benefit from the "RCP" system, which means that the produced electricity is first used by the common areas and then by the private areas before being redirected to the grid.
