I am a small, compact rustic house that can be used as a second home, in the heart of Verscio with a nice neighborhood, right next to the Teatro Dimitri. For many years, I have enjoyed the cultural diversity and liveliness in the old town center of the beautiful Tessin municipality. In 2017, I was thoroughly and carefully renovated and expanded to later accommodate various lively generations of students from the Scuola Dimitri.

On the ground floor, I welcome you with a large living kitchen with a wood stove for lingering. Door to door, you will also find access to the bathroom, laundry room, and cellar here at ground level. The stone staircase of the covered loggia takes you to the first floor, to a spacious room and a smaller room with a loft bed. In the summer heat, the cool shade of the loggia invites you to linger, and in rainy weather, you can listen to the music of the rain on the stone roofs here with dry feet. Finally, via a wooden staircase, you come to the spacious top room (on the 2nd floor), where you can even observe the stars through the skylights. The seating area in front of the house offers you space for dolce far niente or a small garden. Verscio as a municipality in the lower Centovalli has many advantages: the Melezza offers recreational space and bathing opportunities, a selection of different restaurants with good, regional cuisine. It has a good public transport connection, shopping opportunities including a well-known bakery!
