The Kastanienhof is a beautiful garden complex with three carefully integrated residential buildings, offering a green oasis despite its central location. In 2024, the project was awarded the "Gärten & öffentliche Räume Wallis" prize, which is only awarded every two years for outstanding projects. The jury particularly highlighted the harmonious integration of natural design, the use of native perennial planting and trees such as chestnut oaks, rock pears, ornamental cherries, and fruit trees, as well as the quiet ambiance.
