With its entire width, the building is oriented north and south and offers a perfect view of two peaks: Allalinhorn and Dom.

Since it was built as one of the first hotels in the village in the early days of tourism, the building has a central location and thus the best view of these two peaks, which are certainly the pearls of this region. The Dom is with 4,545m above sea level the highest mountain in Switzerland, which is located exclusively within its own national borders. Both peaks dominate the entire Saas Valley.

A real relaxation bonus is the outstanding air quality at this altitude. The difference to the lower areas in the surroundings is clearly noticeable. And also the quality of the water is above average. The water is pumped directly from these glaciers. A natural purity and clarity that you can taste.

Thanks to the altitude of 1,800m above sea level, the sun is also very strong in winter. A day in the snow with a short-sleeved shirt is not unthinkable here.
