According to the statement of the municipality of Ried-Brig, the parcel will be removed from the planning zone by autumn 2025, at the latest by summer 2026, i.e. the parcel is not affected by the rezoning in the "Bleike" area. The local plan "Bleike" will also be repealed.

Access to the property is regulated via the municipal or private road. The infrastructure (electricity, water, sewage) is nearby. The right of way to the property is registered in the land register in favor of the parcel. The parcel also has a registered right to build closer to the neighboring parcel 4061, i.e. a new building can be built on the parcel boundary 4061/4062 (see site plan).

General information about Ried-Brig
Ried-Brig is part of the Naters-Brig-Visp agglomeration and is ideally located on the Brigerberg plateau. A high quality of life, many hours of sunshine, and a direct and quick connection to the centers in the valley via the Simplon road (A9) or through a dense public transport schedule speak for themselves.
Due to its good location, the municipality has grown strongly in recent years. More than 200 school children are taught at the local school. The regional school and various secondary schools (Kollegium Brig, vocational schools, etc.) are located just outside the front door. Since August 2020, the municipality has also offered comprehensive extracurricular care structures with its own kindergarten "Wundernasa". A doctor's practice and a nursing home in the village, as well as the hospital center in Brig, round out the diverse care and health-related needs.
