I’m subletting my furnished studio on the ETH Hönggerberg Campus from 1 January to 30 June 2027 while I’m on exchange.

The studio: The studio is located on the second floor of one of the student residences on ETH Zurich's Hönggerberg Campus and is for one person only. As shown in the pictures, it has a bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom. It comes with the original furniture that was provided when I moved in, including a bed frame, desk, shelves, a kitchen table with chairs and basic kitchen utensils. Please note that you’ll need to bring your own mattress and bedding. If you’d like, I can also leave some additional items, such as the extra freezer, the microwave, the clothes rack, the plant, etc. I don't have an internet subscription for my studio. Instead, I’ve been using a mobile hotspot from my phone, which has always worked well for me.

The building: The building has a lift, laundry and drying rooms, bike storage and a common room. The basement storage unit assigned to the studio is not included, as I’ll be storing some of my belongings there during my exchange.

Rent: CHF 833.65 per month, including a flat-rate utilities charge

Deposit: CHF 2,500.95 (three months’ rent)

Please note: I expect my exchange to be officially confirmed in November. Rejections are very rare, but the sublease is conditional on that confirmation. The sublease will also require my landlord’s approval.

Requirements: To be eligible as a subtenant, you must:

• be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program at ETH Zurich and stay enrolled for the entire duration of the sublease.

• provide proof of valid personal liability insurance (Privathaftpflichtversicherung).

How to apply: Send me a short message about yourself, your study program and semester, and the period you’d like to sublet. The full period is preferred, but I might also consider shorter stays within January to June 2027. I’ll get in touch with selected applicants to arrange viewings.
