The Limmat is only 5 minutes' walk away and invites you to take a stroll. The Sonnenberg with the adjacent vineyards is also within walking distance. The next bus stop is only about 5-6 minutes' walk away. From there, you can reach Schlieren train station in 3 minutes, and from Schlieren train station, it's only 10 minutes to Zurich main station. In total, you can reach Zurich main station in about 20 minutes from Unterengstringen. The bus runs every 15 minutes. The next supermarket is 7 minutes' walk away.
We really appreciated the natural surroundings. You have the beautiful Limmat, the fields, and the forest. At the same time, you can quickly reach Zurich (also by bike - always along the Limmat), Schlieren, Regensdorf, Dietikon, etc.
