Furnished shared room with private balcony access, limited to 3 months

I am renting out a approximately 20sqm large, furnished room in my well-kept apartment. The room has direct access to one of the two balconies and offers a lot of space. Currently, a part of it is set up as a workspace/home office and as a small home gym or storage room

The apartment

The apartment is fully equipped and should feel like a real home for you too:

• large, fully equipped living room
• two balconies, one directly from the room, one from the kitchen to the inner courtyard
• PlayStation, record player, Netflix and other media offers
• fully equipped kitchen
• well-kept and clean household
• regular cleaning by a cleaning lady
• space for sports/recreational equipment by arrangement

About me

I am a working professional, often on the go and quite sports enthusiast: surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, fitness and traveling are part of my life. Additionally, I am often at my girlfriend's place in Basel and therefore not in the apartment for several days.

I want to try out shared apartment life again and am looking for someone with whom the cohabitation works uncomplicatedly, respectfully and pleasantly. We don't have to constantly do something together, a nice conversation or occasionally having a drink/eating together is okay, but

During the week, I have a rather early rhythm. Therefore, it is important to me that it is quiet in the apartment from around 10 pm. This doesn't mean you have to tiptoe around, just mutual consideration and no loud evenings during the week.

Who I'm looking for

Ideally, a well-kept, uncomplicated and independent person from around 30 years old, preferably working. The room could also be very suitable for weekly commuters.

Important:

• non-smoker, no regular smoking in the apartment or on the balcony. At a party or visit on the weekend, it's a different story.
• no pets
• no musical instruments
• respectful handling of the apartment, furniture and neighborhood
• rather quiet lifestyle, especially during the week

Rental period

The sublease is initially limited to 3 months. An extension is generally possible if it works well for both parties, we would discuss that together.
