We are a cooperative

We wish to have open, communicative residents who appreciate the tolerant coexistence and the generation mix of a cooperative and are willing to actively contribute to a community.

• Prior to moving in, a rent deposit of 3 months' rent must be paid into a tenant deposit account. This will be converted into cooperative capital at a later date. For this reason, we cannot accept tenant deposit insurance, etc.

• Keeping dogs is not permitted in our settlements. Apartment cats are allowed, but installing a cat net requires prior approval.

If you are interested in the apartment, please send us the completed registration form ("Appendix" with the photos and under "Documents") along with a brief introduction to neubau-lehenmatt@ebg.ch . We only consider complete applications.

Selected applicants will be contacted for a viewing appointment. Please note that we cannot provide telephone information. Selected applicants will be contacted no later than one month after sending the application. If there is no response, we unfortunately could not consider their application.

The apartment is available for occupancy from November.

The Lehenmatt Quarter

Our property is located in the Lehenmatt quarter, directly on the Birs, which invites you to bathe or take a walk to the Birsköpfli and the Rhine in the summer. Bus lines 36 and 37 offer a good connection in the direction of St. Jakob and Breite. For shopping, the well-stocked Spar quarter shop is available at the corner, as well as a newly opened Migros branch on Lehenmattstrasse.

The Property

The building belongs to our cooperative settlement on Birs-, Lehenmatt- and Redingstrasse. The Lehenmatt new building was constructed as a modern wooden building. Only the base floor and the stair cores are made of concrete.

The six-story building is approximately 80 meters long and sets a new accent in the Lehenmatt quarter. A total of 48 apartments and various communally usable spaces are being created.

On the ground floor, there is a leisure workshop and a settlement meeting point. These rooms are available to all residents and promote community life. On the attic floor, community terraces offer additional space for staying and relaxing.

At the back of the property, there is a large inner courtyard. This remains undeveloped and is designed as a green island with seating and a playground. This creates a quiet, protected outdoor space for young and old.

The Apartment

The 5.5 room apartments are located on the 2nd to 3rd floor and have the following features:

• Optional: Own washing tower possible for a surcharge

Currently, 4.5 room apartments are also available.
