Bright room with private balcony in a maisonette apartment, district 5

I'm looking for a flatmate for my 4 1/2 room apartment on Langstrasse. If you're interested, please write me a few lines about yourself and your daily life, so I can get a first impression.

I am
Rahel, 62 years old, and I work as a sports teacher at a Zurich high school. During the day, I'm often on the go, and in the evening, I also like to go out. I would describe myself as open-minded, friendly, and youthful.
What I envision: not a purely functional shared apartment where people just live past each other. But also not one where we sit together at the table every evening. Everyone has their own life. We say hello, chat briefly in the kitchen, and if it suits us, we might even cook together sometimes.
You have sufficient privacy because the apartment is a maisonette spread over two floors: my room is on the upper floor, yours on the lower floor. We share the kitchen, living room, dining room, and bathroom with shower.

The apartment
is 118 m² large and located on the 5th and 6th floors on Langstrasse, corner of Röntgenstrasse, right in the heart of district 5. There's an elevator to the top.
The shared areas include a kitchen, living room, and dining room. The kitchen is modern, including a dishwasher. There are two toilets, and we share the bathroom with shower.
Most of the apartment has blue linoleum flooring: insensitive and easy to clean. You can store some of your belongings in the basement or in a recess on the upper floor. The washing machine is also located on the upper floor.
The apartment has a completely circumferential balcony and a wider section as a small terrace. So, you have a sunny spot and a great view all day.

The location is absolutely central: it's only a 10-minute walk to the main station and 5 minutes to Limmatplatz, with many shopping opportunities. The bus stops right in front of the house, and the area is extremely well-connected by public transport. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shopping opportunities throughout the neighborhood.
A word about the surroundings: Langstrasse is lively, and you can hear it, especially on weekend evenings in the summer. The train tracks are also nearby. With closed windows (soundproof windows were installed 1.5 years ago), it's quiet in the room, but if you're looking for absolute silence, this might not be the right place for you.

The room
is 13.8 m² large and unfurnished, so you can decorate it to your taste. If desired, the room can also be rented furnished.
The best part: it has its own balcony of around 5 m², which belongs exclusively to the room. From there, you can see over Langstrasse to the Uetliberg, and from mid-day onwards, you have sunshine until sunset. This makes the room very bright.

I'm looking for
someone who wants to live centrally and values respectful, uncomplicated interaction. Cleanliness in the shared areas is important to me, as is communicating with each other if something doesn't work out. The age difference isn't an issue for me, as long as we get along. Preferably a non-smoker and no pets.
