Are you looking for a new home in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Bern? Do you not like living alone, but rather together with nice people? Admittedly, our apartment is not cheap, but it has a lot to offer. The house is a modern new building and our bright shared apartment has two floors, a large, sun-kissed terrace, a cozy living room, modern kitchen, two bathrooms, its own washing machine and dryer. The building is very well insulated - not too warm in summer, not too cold in winter.

You love urban life in a lively, diverse neighborhood, 5 minutes from the Aare (Lorrainebad) with trendy bars, cafes, restaurants, many attention-seeking cats, and places where people gather, eat, drink, play, bathe, or simply let their souls dangle? You're looking for proximity to the old town on the one hand and to nature on the other, with wonderful walking paths along the Aare banks, past the Lorraine outdoor pool, beaches, and buvettes? Well, then this would be just right for you.

We are Paul and Jan and are looking for a new member for our 3-room shared apartment. We are both working professionals, adventurous, often on the go, sociable, and open-minded. We are open and cosmopolitan. People-hostile and discriminatory ideologies have no place with us.

We celebrate the holidays as they come and we like to have guests, but most of the time it's quite quiet and cozy with us. We speak German (native), French (native), English, and Portuguese, but in everyday life mostly English.

We are not a functional shared apartment and would like someone who intends to stay longer, likes to get involved, and help shape our community. Of course, everyone gets as much freedom as they need. We plan to have a shared apartment evening once a month, and everything else happens spontaneously. We have few rules, which is why communication, openness, and consensus are very important to us. We wish for a friendly, trusting, and respectful coexistence in which everyone can unfold and feel comfortable. Ideally, you are older than 25, communicative, open, warm, and sociable, and have already had shared apartment experience.

The additional costs are fully stated and also include the costs for our household help, who takes care of cleaning the rooms and common areas. So, you don't have to clean much here. Unfortunately, it's unavoidable that each person still contributes a small part to making it nice and cozy here.

You can find the dimensions of your room in the floor plan with the photos. The room is unfurnished, so you can let your creativity run free. The room is small, but we have a lot of common space that is equally available to all roommates.
