Brief summary for all who do not want to read the entire ad: We are looking for a female weekly boarder (no men, please!) due to the many messages, I can only respond to requests from women and those with a brief description of themselves.

About us and our living situation:
I'm Rahel (30), with a Bachelor's degree in Social Anthropology and another in Nursing. Last year, I completed my Master's in Global Health and currently work at the BAG and the municipality of Köniz, after spending most of my 20s working in development cooperation. My boyfriend lives with me about 50% of the time. He studies part-time for his Master's in Digital Business Administration at the BFH but also runs a business in Jordan (where he's from) and travels there frequently.
Since we live in a 4.5-room apartment, which is a bit large for two people, and I'd also appreciate some company, especially when my boyfriend is not around, we're looking for a female weekly boarder.
I'm often on the go, as I have various commitments besides work (fire department, Walk For Freedom, politics, church) and meet friends (at home or elsewhere) or do something after work. However, I also enjoy chatting over a cup of tea or having a joint dinner (my boyfriend makes delicious Jordanian dishes) or we're always up for a game night. We value our alone time as well :)

We're looking for:
A female weekly boarder (around 20-35 years old). Ideally, you have experience living in shared apartments or other forms of communal living. Cleanliness and some attention to detail when cleaning are important to you :-). You're mostly a weekly boarder (i.e., not here on weekends), but you enjoy communal living and might want to have dinner together occasionally. You're a non-smoker and don't have pets.

The room/the apartment:
The room is small (around 10m^2) and bright, with morning sun. It costs 650CHF per month. The apartment was renovated in 2016 and features a bright, large living and dining room, a large, open kitchen with a dishwasher, a big balcony, a bathroom, and a small toilet (which is mostly for your use). The kitchen is fully equipped, and the apartment is completely furnished, except for your room. Additionally, there's a laundry room, drying rooms, and a bike cellar for shared use. A parking space can be rented.

Bus stop (1-minute walk), Bern train station (15 minutes by bus, 20 minutes by bike), Ostermundigen train station (3 minutes by bus, 5 minutes by bike), forest, bakery, Migros, Denner, Lidl, beautiful Ostermundigenbadi, Fitnesspark Time-Out (huge!) and other fitness studios, O-Bloc (climbing hall), pharmacy, butcher, gelateria/creperie, various farm shops, Vita-Parcours, etc.
