Description

This furnished apartment is rented for a limited period of three months to a single person and is ideal for a temporary stay in Thun. Smoking is not allowed in the living rooms.

The apartment has two rooms that can be separated by a sliding door. The bedroom has a double bed. Directly at the window, there is a workspace with a beautiful view of the Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau, and Niesen. In the living area, a cozy sofa invites you to relax with a view of the Stockhorn. Additionally, there is a dining table that can be removed if needed.

The highlight of the apartment is certainly the unique view of the Bernese Alps. From the Niederhorn to the Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau, and Blüemlisalp to the Niesen and Stockhorn, an impressive mountain panorama opens up. Especially in the autumn and winter months, beautiful sunrises over the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau can be enjoyed from the balcony or room window.

Although the apartment is relatively compact with its 30 m² interior space, it appears surprisingly spacious thanks to the thoughtful furnishings. A closet and part of the built-in wardrobe provide sufficient storage space. The kitchen is small but fully equipped and offers everything you need for cooking. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and sink, as well as storage space for bathroom utensils.

The approximately 15 m² large balcony also makes the apartment something special. It offers a lot of additional space and invites you to enjoy the view and fresh air as long as the temperatures permit.

The apartment is within walking distance to the lake (about 10 minutes), various shopping facilities (about 3-10 minutes), and the Strättligenplatz bus stop (about 3 minutes). From there, regular connections to the train station and the center of Thun are available. If needed, a bicycle can be provided. Numerous parking spaces in the blue zone are available directly in front of the house; for a three-month stay, a zone parking card can be purchased for CHF 60.

The stated rent includes ancillary costs, Billag, electricity, etc.

In high-demand areas, property listers find themselves pre-selecting prospects to manage the number of viewings. Timing – first come, first served – is key, but other criteria can also influence selection. A high income doesn’t always mean an advantage – be honest about it.
