Hello!
Two rooms will become available in our shared house in Montreux on September 1st next year!
We are a queer-friendly shared house that strives to build a collective lifestyle and make projects happen, particularly by growing a vegetable garden and hosting get-togethers on our lovely terrace.
We are looking for two people who would be interested in putting a little bit of themselves into this beautiful place.
The first room is located on the upper floor, it is 15m2 and overlooks the road and the lake. (See photos room 1) The bathroom is shared with two other people.
The second room is located on the lower floor, it is 12m2 and overlooks the garden, the lake, and the mountains. (See photo room 2) The bathroom is shared with one other person.
The kitchen, living room, and dining room are shared among 6 people.
In total, we are 11 humans and 2 cats living in the house.
The house is close to public transportation (3 minutes walk from the Montreux-Rochers-de-Naye line stop, 20 minutes from Territet CFF station, and 25 minutes from Montreux CFF station).
We have set up all sorts of common spaces (workshops, living rooms, music studio, guest room, ...), and there are also many terraces, a large garden with a vegetable garden, fruit trees, a cabin, a pond, and a view of Lake Geneva and the Alps at 180 degrees.
The rent (including all utilities, including Wi-Fi) is 850.- CHF per month per room.
We are ideally looking for people who have experience in community living, who are willing to take some time to invest in the care of the house and garden.
