Large room in newly founded 2-person shared flat in Zürich Seefeld (2 min from lake)

Hello / Hallo / Buenas / Bones!
I'm looking for a roommate to join me in a beautiful flat in Zürich Seefeld from the 1st of September.
The flat is currently rented by close friends of mine who are leaving Zurich with their family. They've offered me the opportunity to take over the lease and some of the furniture I'm in the process of finalizing the details, so I'm looking for the right person to apply together with me. More on that once we've had a chance to connect!
Out of respect for my friends' privacy, I haven't shared many photos of the flat just yet. Let's get to know each other first if we feel like a good match, I'm happy to show you more.

The Room

1617 sqm, the slightly larger of the two bedrooms
Bright, large window overlooking the street quiet despite the location thanks to excellent insulation
Option to purchase a large closet and bookshelf currently in the room
The Flat

Location: Heart of Seefeld 2 min walk to Chinawiese and Lake Zurich, Migros and Coop literally on the opposite corner, trams 9, 11, and 15 at your doorstep. It doesn't get more convenient than this.
Kitchen: Modern, fully equipped ceramic cooktop, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, plenty of storage. I have all of the kitchen needs already, but I'm always open to additions!
2 balconies, 1 bathroom with bathtub, shower, and storage
Washing machine and dryer in a dedicated storage cupboard
Excellent insulation: stays cool in summer, and you barely hear the other apartments or between rooms with doors closed
Bike room in the basement, generous attic storage
The living room will be furnished by me, with room for your touch too.

A Bit About Me
I'm Isabelle, 27 (f) a PhD candidate and researcher at a Swiss university, working in the field of sustainability. I'm German-born, Swiss/American-raised, and very much at home in all three cultures (Hochdeutsch und Schwiizerdüütsch gehen natürlich auch!).
In my free time, I'm usually out and about with friends, visiting family, or doing something active and a little unconventional (if you're curious, ask me!). I spend a lot of time outdoors and near the water. But I genuinely love my quiet days at home too: cooking a big breakfast, reading, watching a film, or playing guitar.
Home, to me, is a calm and open space where everyone feels comfortable and at ease. After 8 years in shared flats, what I've valued most is when nothing feels forced where people can be honest, communicate openly, and respect each other's lives without judgment. The foundations I care about: self-responsibility, respect, autonomy, and empathy. That translates into clear communication and co-creating a home that's happy, healthy, and clean together.
