Description

We (Astrid, Philippe, Anna, and Jess) are looking for a new roommate for our beautiful, spacious 5-room apartment starting in September. We welcome applicants who have already found their place in life and are looking for a relaxed, communal living situation.
The apartment spans two floors and features a large private rooftop terrace with a stunning view of Zurich and the mountains. Public transportation (bus and tram) and various supermarkets are within a 5-minute walk, and the main train station is a 15-minute walk or a 10-minute tram ride away.

Your room:
The room is 18 m2 in size, located away from the street, and is therefore pleasantly quiet. The monthly rent is 1750 CHF, including utilities, internet, Netflix subscription, and cleaning service.
Move-in date is early September (with flexibility after discussion).

About us:
Astrid (44) does something with communication and has a green thumb in the apartment. She enjoys being outdoors, whether hiking, mountain biking, or snowboarding - as long as she doesn't have to get up too early.

Anna (29) is working on her Ph.D. about volcanoes, watches trashy movies, and plays roller derby. She's also easy to convince to go for a hike or skiing.

Philippe (31) is a think tank member and a political economy all-rounder. He's always up for exciting discussions about the latest votes - and a glass of wine is always a must. He musically entertains the apartment with accordion and piano.

Jess (32) takes care of a bio lab during the day and is our second English-speaking (or in this case, Bernese German-speaking) roller derby player after Anna. As a long-distance hiker, plant nerd, and vegan cooking enthusiast, she's also easy to convince to participate in indoor and outdoor activities (including plant foraging in the neighborhood).

Our apartment life:
Our apartment life is communal - a pure utility apartment is not an option for us. So far, we've had regular movie and cooking nights, baking actions, joint birthday surprises, and occasional apartment parties. We'd like to keep that up in the new constellation.

Organization and cleanliness are important to us, and we all contribute to keeping the apartment beautiful for everyone.
