Description

We (Astrid, Phillippe, Anna, and Jess) are looking for a new roommate from April for our beautiful 5-person shared flat, as our roommate is unfortunately leaving us to move to Bern. We are excited about applicants who have already arrived in life and wish for a relaxed, communal living together.

The apartment is spread over two floors and has a rooftop terrace with a wonderful view of Zurich and the mountains. Public transport (bus and tram) and various supermarkets are within a 5-minute walk, and the main train station can be reached in 15 minutes on foot.

About the room:
A 15 m² room, it is located away from the street and is therefore pleasantly quiet. The monthly rent is approximately CHF 1600, including utilities, Netflix subscription, cleaning lady, etc. The move-in date is early September (with flexibility after discussion).

About us:
Astrid (43) does something with communication and has a green thumb in the shared flat. She likes to be outdoors, hiking, mountain biking, or snowboarding - as long as she doesn't have to get up too early.
Anna (29) is working on her Ph.D. about volcanoes, watches trashy movies, and plays roller derby. She can also be easily convinced to go for a hike or ski.
Phillippe (31) is a think tank and a political economy all-rounder. He's always up for exciting discussions about the latest votes - and a glass of wine is never missing. He musically entertains the shared flat with accordion and piano.
Jess (32) takes care of a bio-lab during the day and is, after Anna, our second Denglisch (or in this case, Bärn-glisch) speaking roller derby player. As a long-distance hiker, plant nerd, and vegan cooking enthusiast, she can also be easily convinced to participate in indoor and outdoor activities (including plant foraging in the neighborhood).

Our shared flat life:
We imagine shared flat life as a community - a purely functional shared flat is not an option for us. So far, we have had regular movie and cooking nights, joint birthday surprises, and occasional shared flat parties (with a theme). We would like to continue this in the new constellation!

Organization and cleanliness are important to us, and we all contribute to keeping the apartment beautiful for all of us.
