About us
We are two women (55 and 57 years old) and a man (59), one woman is a weekly commuter and the other two are a couple. Professionally, we work in management, psychology, and computer science.
We are connected by the idea of sharing a well-kept household and, in loose connection, also a little everyday life with each other in an uncomplicated way. Respect and personal responsibility, a cleaning staff, and our consistent composition also contribute to the relaxed living atmosphere. Now our fourth roommate is moving out after 11½ years.
Location & Environment
The listed Art Nouveau house row on Monbijoustrasse is 500m from the train station/Welle, at the Monbijou stop (lines 9, 10, 19), cars only with feeder service.
The cozy inner courtyard terrace with wildflowers, bird chirping, garden furniture, and grill invites you to linger.
Among the other house residents, we cultivate a cordial neighborhood.
The apartment (150m²)
Our tastefully renovated apartment offers four bedrooms with parquet floors and stucco;
two bathrooms, one with shower and toilet for you and our part-time roommate, the other is used by the couple;
a living room (24 m²) with a cozy corner sofa, long dining table, and charming arch window, as well as
a modern kitchen with finely sorted equipment (including dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, and microwave), dining table for four people, and a balcony.
In addition, there is a mini-cleaning room with a glass fiber connection/router and a small compartment in the basement, as well as a laundry room with a tumble dryer, tub, and bike parking space.
The apartment is smoke-free (we are too), and pets are not allowed by the landlord.
Every two weeks, a cleaning staff takes care of the basic cleaning of the apartment, and the janitor is responsible for the stairs.
The available room (25.5 m²)
The former salon of the apartment impresses with stucco and parquet floor, a built-in wardrobe with three doors, and two windows with morning sun until noon and a view up to the Gurten.
The rent is CHF 975.- including all ancillary costs, eco-electricity, WLAN/Billag, cleaning staff, and maintenance.
The room can be occupied on August 1, 2026, or at a later date.
