Description

As I am moving in with my boyfriend, I am sadly giving up my room in this beautiful and exceptionally well-located apartment in the heart of Zurich.

Flexible move-in date, no later than August.

Lease Terms at a Glance
The room is available through an initial 6-month sublease.
After the 6 months, the idea is for you to take over the room with a direct long-term lease from the landlord, subject to a good fit with the flat and landlord approval. We will decide together by the 4th month of the sublease whether to proceed with the lease transfer.
For the initial sublease period, the required deposit is CHF 3,200, consisting of:

  • CHF 1,600 rental deposit
  • CHF 1,600 furniture deposit (which corresponds to the furniture purchase price if the lease is taken over)
To qualify for the long-term lease, you should:

  • Earn at least CHF 6,500 per month
  • Be willing to purchase the room and shared-apartment furniture for CHF 1,600
  • Provide a current Betreibungsregisterauszug (debt enforcement extract)
  • Be able to provide the standard rental deposit required by the landlord (currently approximately CHF 4,130)

  • Confirmation that you are comfortable starting with a 6-month sublease
About the Apartment
Located on Augustinergasse (8001 Zurich), just steps from Bahnhofstrasse, the apartment offers the rare combination of a central location and a surprisingly quiet atmosphere.
The apartment spans three floors and includes a large private rooftop terrace, ideal for relaxing, BBQs, or after-work drinks.
We currently have a cleaning service that comes every two weeks. The cost is approximately CHF 100 per month/person. This arrangement can be discussed with the new tenant.

About the Room
The spacious room is fully furnished and ready to move into. It is bright and receives plenty of natural light throughout the day.

  • Desk and chair
  • Built-in wardrobes
  • Additional IKEA wardrobe
  • Dresser
There is ample storage space. If helpful, I can also leave bedding, including a duvet and pillows.

About Your Future Flatmates
You will be sharing the apartment with two guys:

  • Louis (33), originally from France, entrepreneur in the medical therapy sector
  • Laszlo (30), originally from Romandie, entrepreneur in the watch industry and former consultant
The flat has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Everyone enjoys their own space and quiet time, while occasional shared dinners, terrace BBQs, and spontaneous drinks are always welcome.
