Description

Flatmate Wanted – Spacious Apartment in Zurich from August

I’m looking for a friendly (ideally female) flatmate to share a bright and spacious apartment in Zurich from August.

The apartment is large, quiet, and very well connected. The tram stop is only a 2-minute walk away, with Oerlikon reachable in 5 minutes and Zurich HB in just 13 minutes. Migros, Coop Pronto, restaurants, and other amenities are all nearby.

The available bedroom is spacious and fully furnished. In addition to the bedroom, the apartment offers a comfortable living room and a separate workspace room, giving plenty of space to relax, work, or study from home. You would only be sharing the apartment with me.

A bit about me: I’m Paulina, 27, originally from Poland and living in Zurich for the past two years. I enjoy running, going to the gym, exploring Switzerland, and maintaining a peaceful and tidy home. I’m looking for someone who values cleanliness, mutual respect, and a calm living environment. It would be lovely to occasionally share a coffee or chat, while also respecting each other’s independence and personal space.

I’m ideally looking for someone who is not into frequent house parties or constantly having guests over, but who appreciates a comfortable and welcoming home atmosphere.

Important: My current flatmate, who holds the main rental contract, is moving to Australia. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who would be interested in taking over the main contract (approximately CHF 2,000/month but you pay only 1000 for your room monthly). However, if you feel you would be a great fit for the apartment, feel free to reach out and we can discuss the available options.

The apartment and room will remain furnished, as my current flatmate would like to sell the furniture package for CHF 1,800. This makes moving in very easy, as everything is already set up and ready to use. If you would be interested in purchasing the furniture, please mention this in your application.

If this sounds like a good fit, I’d love to hear from you! Please send me a short introduction about yourself, your current situation, and what you’re looking for in a shared home.

In high-demand areas, property listers find themselves pre-selecting prospects to manage the number of viewings. Timing – first come, first served – is key, but other criteria can also influence selection. A high income doesn’t always mean an advantage – be honest about it.
