Description

Hi there!

We're Julia (31) and Theresa (34), two friends who are creating a shared home, not just a shared apartment. We are looking for a new flatmate to join us in our spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment. We've poured a lot of love into making this a beautiful and comfortable space, and we hope to find someone who shares our values.

A Bit About Us

As friends, we've lived together before and love the idea of building a supportive home. Julia is a passionate triathlete and amazing baker, recently finished her PhD and moving into the field of intellectual property.
Theresa is a self-employed tech professional who splits her time between here and San Francisco, so she's often away 4-5 months of the year. She's also a passionate hobby chef - food is a huge part of our life here!
We're a mix of German, Vietnamese, and Swiss influences, and we enjoy hosting dinners and brunches. While we love to be social, we also respect each other's privacy and "me time."

The Room and The Flat

Your private room is available starting in Juli (earlier move in possible from June 18th). It is unfurnished, so you can make it your own, but it comes with two build-in wardrobes, so you'll have plenty of storage. You will also have your own private bathroom.

Our kitchen is the heart of our home. It's equipped with high-end appliances, including an induction stove, steamer, wine fridge, and a Dyson vacuum. It has everything you'd need, from Japanese knives to hosting equipment.

Cleanliness is a top priority for us. We are extremely organized and tidy, and we expect our flatmate to be respectful of the shared spaces. We have a cleaner who comes every month to help maintain our home.

The Practical Stuff
Monthly Rent for the room: 1,815 CHF which covers rent, electricity, and internet.
Deposit: 4,400 CHF, which is your share of the three full months of rent we have in a deposit account.
Additional Costs: Yearly costs for Serafe, household, liability, and legal insurance are split between the three of us (approximately 1,000 CHF/3).
If you're looking for a clean, friendly, and well-equipped home to share with two respectful people, we'd love to hear from you.

In high-demand areas, property listers find themselves pre-selecting prospects to manage the number of viewings. Timing – first come, first served – is key, but other criteria can also influence selection. A high income doesn’t always mean an advantage – be honest about it.
