My name is Ulrike and I'm offering, in my apartment, a room for a female person looking for a quiet and quality situation in the center of Lugano. The house is located in Molino Nuovo in a sixties building, on the fifth floor with a beautiful open view on two sides and a large balcony surrounding the whole apartment.
The room measures about 14m2 and has access to a private part of the balcony. From the east-facing window, you can see Monte Brè and there is morning sun, while the room remains sunny during the day from the south-facing door-window. The room is furnished as shown in the photos and the bathroom is shared with me.
The other spaces (kitchen, living room, and the large west-facing balcony) can be used freely, obviously with mutual respect. I've lived with others for most of my life and I believe there are no problems as long as - if any should arise - we communicate with the intention of finding a solution.
In the basement, you can use two washing machines, a dryer, and a space dedicated to drying clothes. Outside the building, there is a place to park bicycles. In the surrounding streets, you can find both blue (time-limited) and white (paid) parking spaces.
The room is available from June. The monthly rent is 900 francs and includes all expenses (water, electricity, waste, radio and television fees, and internet).
