Immediately or by agreement, the Canton of Zurich is looking for a committed host/hostess on the Rheinau monastery island who will breathe new life into the Klostergarten restaurant.

With its unique location directly on the Rhine, its natural surroundings, the historic mill hall, and the functional room layout, the Klostergarten restaurant offers the best conditions for successful gastronomic use. Whether as a classic (excursion) restaurant, event location, or meeting place for the local population, this property combines atmosphere, quality, and potential in a special way. It is also easily accessible by public transport, bike, motorcycle, or car.

The canton plans to enhance the Rheinau monastery island with a museum in the next few years, which will attract additional visitors. Until then, we are offering the Klostergarten restaurant for rent at attractive conditions:

What we offer:

-Rental of the premises without base rent, including large inventory (small inventory at the tenant's expense)
-Sales component from a certain turnover (see details in rental documentation)
-Lump-sum ancillary costs of CHF 2,160.00 per month at the tenant's expense
-Negotiable contract duration
-Fully equipped restaurant with 40-50 seats
-Large, sunny terrace with 80-100 seats (up to 150 seats with standing room)
-Mill hall with approximately 250 m2 on the 2nd floor
-Kitchen equipped with modern appliances
