Surroundings

The rural municipality of Blauen with around 700 inhabitants is quietly located. Due to the slight slope, you have a wonderful view of the hilly landscape from the village and also from the house. The region is a popular destination for hiking and cycling tours.

The city of Basel can be reached by car in about 25 minutes, and by public transport, you can reach the train station in Basel in 37 minutes.

From December 2025, a quarter-hourly service to Blauen will be introduced through the double-track expansion in the Laufental, with the last bus at 11:45 PM. This will significantly optimize the accessibility of the village and make the location ideal for families, commuters, and people who appreciate the proximity to nature. The bus stop is only 180 meters from the house.

The village has an active club life. The kindergarten and primary school are within walking distance.
