Zermatt is located at 1,620 m above sea level and is world-famous for its local mountain, the Matterhorn. But also its special character, its friendly inhabitants, and their traditions make this village in the Upper Valais unique. The center is easily accessible from the apartment. Zermatt itself is car-free and can be reached with a special permit via the Täsch-Zermatt road or with the Matterhorn-Gotthard train from Täsch. The Täsch-Zermatt connection runs around the clock from Thursday to Sunday. The rest of the week until midnight. In the village itself, transportation is by electric taxi or horse-drawn carriage. Zermatt offers a very generous range of leisure activities. Not only sports enthusiasts enjoy the wide range of leisure activities such as skiing, hiking, cycling, hiking, and golfing, but also culture enthusiasts get their money's worth.
