Acoustic panels made of wood on the living room wall make it more interesting than the usual white walls (which were all repainted last year). The sun shines from three directions (northwest, south, and southeast) into the apartment, so it is flooded with natural light throughout the day.A large, L-shaped, private garden of approximately 400 m² was always a highlight of the apartment for us. It surrounds most of the apartment and offers, especially at this time of year, a view of blooming trees directly in front of your bedroom and living room, and the loggia (which we recently renovated) is a wonderful place to relax after a day of work. It's also a great place to realize all your gardening dreams or install a swimming pool. :) It goes without saying that pets are welcome in the residential complex.The apartment is located on the ground floor of a modern building complex from 2016. It is heated with a heat pump, which reduces maintenance costs, and is – unlike most modern buildings – not a glass house. This means that today's heatwaves are not a problem at all, and no air conditioning or other cooling methods are required.In just 3 minutes on foot from the building, you can reach a field and a hiking trail with a breathtaking view of the Alps, in 5 minutes you can reach a Volg branch that also houses the local post office, and in just a few more minutes you can reach a community school. Of course, the building also has an underground garage with a large (easily accommodating a car and a motorcycle), apartment-allocated parking space (for a mandatory surcharge of 30,000 francs). If you need additional parking spaces, they can be rented easily for about 100-150 francs per month. Although Hendschiken is rural and quiet, it is very well connected to the surrounding cities of Othmarsingen (5 minutes by car), Lenzburg (10 minutes), and Wohlen (10 minutes), as well as to the highway, so you can easily reach Aarau, Baden, and Basel, and with little traffic, you can drive to Zurich in 30-40 minutes (the upcoming completion of the Gubrist renovation should also greatly ease commuter traffic during rush hour). Additionally, there are numerous beautiful bike paths that lead to the surrounding rivers, lakes, fields, and castles.We bought the apartment last April, moved there from Zurich, and enjoyed every minute of our life there. Unfortunately, life is unpredictable, and we are now looking for someone to buy the apartment from us and enjoy it just as much as we did. Since it was our first apartment purchase and we took the usual route of paying out funds from the 2nd and 3rd pillars, organizing a mortgage, etc., we are happy to advise buyers on how to proceed best.If interested, we can sell the apartment including all or some of the furniture and furnishings, e.g., the complete Philips Hue smart lighting, a Tylko sideboard, or a 65-inch OLED TV from LG.
