The Guisan Park projectThe Guisan Park project in the heart of Interlaken emerged from a small architectural competition with four participating, renowned, and regional architectural firms.
The quarter is characterized by the various villas of the founding period. This also includes the Villa Cranz - the current municipal administration and the former
seat of General Guisan.
The HMS office has taken up the approach of the villa quarter in a convincing manner and was able to assert itself with the jury.
The small multi-family houses with a maximum of eight apartments and winter garden-like connecting buildings are loosely designed and characterized by high individuality.
In close cooperation between architects, building administration, neighbors, protection organizations, and specialist planners, a very special project can be realized here.
The apartments are characterized by spacious living and dining areas with weather-protected loggias, roof terraces, and private gardens.
All apartments have at least two wet cells. Most bedrooms offer a walk-in closet and direct access to the bathroom/toilet in the private area.
The three villas Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau are oriented southwest and benefit from optimal sunlight and unobstructed views of the Niesen.
Only qualified companies, preferably from the region, are used for the new building.
Sustainability & ComfortWARM IN WINTER, COOLED IN SUMMER.
Highly insulating facade and roof constructions, as well as triple-glazed wood-metal windows, reliably keep cold and excessive heat at bay. The air-water heat pump provides comfortable warmth in winter and can gently cool the underfloor heating in summer - for a pleasant living climate all year round.
In order to make use of the optimal insulation, the villas are equipped with controlled ventilation. The outgoing warm air heats the incoming fresh air, allowing for efficient and energy-saving heating in winter.
Moisture damage due to showering or cooking is avoided with the individually controllable comfort ventilation. Of course, all windows can still be opened. Those who want to can also sleep with the window open in the deepest winter - but don't have to, since the ventilation provides fresh air silently.
The basement rooms are also insulated and equipped with a dehumidification system.
Each villa has its own air-water heat pump on the roof in combination with a solar system. Through the ZEV electricity cost distribution, the residents can directly benefit from the cheap and environmentally friendly solar power from their own system.
ApartmentsEach apartment buyer can individually design the equipment. Five hours of consultation by the architectural office are available for the interior construction and the necessary support by the entrepreneurs. Different execution variants are offered for the bathrooms.
High-quality interior construction, for example, with country house planks made of oak parquet, stoneware plates on the floor and walls in the wet cells, kitchens with high-quality appliances and natural stone cladding, rain showers, glass partitions, mineral plastered walls painted white or colored according to your choice, etc. You can choose from many variants, surfaces, and colors.
