Location and accessibility

The village of Hasliberg begins behind the Brünig Pass and stretches over a length of nine kilometers over the south-facing sun terrace over the four villages: Hohfluh, Wasserwendi, Goldern and Reuti. The higher region has been used as a summer pasture for livestock for centuries. With the construction of the railways from 1960, tourist development also began. Today, Hasliberg is an Eldorado for all those who love nature: in winter for snow sports enthusiasts; in the warm season, a large network of hiking trails to demanding routes can be walked and driven by families, hikers and bike freaks.

Hasliberg is located in the heart of Switzerland and is accessible via the A8 and the Zentralbahn. Both the A8 and the Zentralbahn lead over the Brünig Pass, which is open all year round. For the Brünig-Hasliberg route, the development function as part of public transport is ensured by a post bus line and the Meiringen-Reuti route by the cable car.

Hasliberg has hotels and restaurants, the Rehaklinik Hasliberg (Center for Rehabilitation and Recovery), small and medium-sized enterprises, sports shops and stores with products for daily needs in Hohfluh, Wasserwendi and Reuti.
