Hi dears, we are Cris, Sarah and Lou and we're looking for a new FLINTA*-roomie (24-35 years).

The room and flat:

• The approximately 21sqm unfurnished room with beautiful light wood paneling and a cozy bay window that lets in the sun and offers a view of beautiful Oberstrass. Like the rest of the apartment, the room has charming (and slightly creaky ) wooden floors and stucco ceilings, plus a small built-in closet.
• The flat itself is spacious and bright: a large dining area, a cozy living room with a balcony overlooking the Uetliberg, two bathroom, and a kitchen in great condition with a dishwasher and induction stove. We also have attic and basement storage, and a shared washing machine and tumbler downstairs.

Location:

• Great location in Kreis 6 above the university district on the slopes of the Zürichberg. Next to a large Migros supermarket, pharmacy, Stocker bakery, and Hausamann bakery, Tram lines 9 and 10. The Irchel campus, Stolzewiese, and main station are also within easy reach.

What we are looking for:

We're looking for an open-minded FINTA* person (i.e. a woman or an inter, nonbinary, trans or agender person) between 24 and 35 who's kind, respectful, and simply nice to live with. We'd love to live with someone who enjoys a shared life, not just passing each other in the hallway (for us, a WG is more than just splitting rent).

WG life & about us

We've been in Zurich for some years, but are a relatively new wg constellation so still figuring out our vibe so we would be co-creating that with you! We all like spending time with friends but also appreciate quiet evenings at home. Overall, our flat is a relaxed space where you can feel comfortable and unwind.
We are all around 30 and speak english with each other. Smoking is possible on the balcony. We have a cleaning schedule where we take turns to keep our space tidy &clean.

• Cristina (she/her) is just a girl, trying to survive this late stage capitalism hellscape by crafting and reading, planning to sail into the sunset (literally). She is currently on her boat in Spain, and will next re-invent herself professionally after a corporate job.
• Sarah (they/none) enjoys bopping about the city with friends, spending time outside, being involved in the local queer movement, and working on the latest creative hyper focus. Their paid work is in in sustainability and they do home office from time to time in order to keep up with laundry and love island. Sarah and Cris are having a little DJ project that is ready to bloom.
• Lou (she/ her) is a busy girly who enjoys spending time with friends - whether at cultural events, exhibitions, or just out and about in the city (new years resolution includes doing sports again lol but hasn't happened yet). She likes crafting and gardening, is involved in the local alternative cultural scene, does awareness work and helps organize concerts and parties. She also is a reaercher at the University of Zurich.

We like knowing what's going on in each other's lives, having little kitchen yaps, maybe a spontaneous tarot session, cooking together now and then, or occasionally doing something outside the flat (party, coffee, swimming, crafting, WG-excursions to a flee market or demo/protest etc)

At the same time, we all have our own busy routines, friends, and phases where we need quiet and space, and we of course respect that in each other.
It's important to us 8that our flat is a queer-friendly place where everyone feels seen, safe, comfortable, and at ease.
We care about community, mutual respect, and looking out for each other in different shapes or forms. <3
